hi • ça va • 你好!

I'm Carol, a former glorified software bug hunter and user advocate turned front-end developer. I first dabbled in HTML5 and CSS3 when I was in high school and intended to study CS in college, but wound up switching to linguistics because I enjoyed the subject a lot. Afterwards I became a software QA engineer due to my attention to detail. When I was recovering from bad burnout, I remembered that my passion had always been in designing and creating, so I signed up for a front-end bootcamp, and the rest is history.

In my free time I love to read, write, draw digitally, and compose music with Logic Pro X. (Find me on Soundcloud if you like cinematic music!) I also exercise my perfect pitch and decade of classical piano training every once in a while, learn languages (or try to), or dabble in other arts and crafts.
